Visitor Information

Visit Your Loved Ones

Peace River Regional Medical Center recognizes how important it is for our patients to enjoy visits from family and friends.  We allow flexibility in visiting based on a patient’s condition and preference; however, we encourage you to check with admission or the main desk prior to visiting to make sure your visit occurs at the most appropriate time.

Patients are allowed two visitors at a time.  We suggest that visits be kept brief to avoid tiring patients.  Visitors may be asked to leave the room when a physician arrives or when nursing care or spiritual care is given.  Children of any age may be allowed to visit patients with the permission of their nurse.  We ask that you not bring young visitors who may be disruptive.  To prevent spreading illnesses to our patients, we ask that children and adults with contagious illnesses, including colds and flu, delay their visits until they are well.
